Is he thinking what I’m thinking? Sure. No, I mean besides Manchester United losing at Old Trafford in the leauge. J is wondering if Relativistic Mass gain is in play between the galaxies that are moving away from each other? I mean, it’s hard enough to fathom that the galaxies are not moving but NEW SPACE is being created between the galaxies~! So is this true motion? Is it subject to Relativistic effects? And if not, WHY NOT? How would we claim to know such a thing?
I can’t stand when facts are presented and certain new questions spring out of that and yet, they aren’t addressed. J is steamed too. Liverpool at Sunderland tomorrow. Yankees playing meaningless game$. Ahhh…
This will bring you back down. The sleepy-voiced guy is HEAVY…my goodness. Actually, he answers in this video, the questions I’ve asked above. He sleepily states that relativistic effects are NOT in play re galaxy-to-galaxy expansion. But, he doesn’t say HOW we claim to KNOW that.
Makes me think that the description “Big Bang” is a misnomer. It’s not an explosion with things flying apart then, is it? It’s really new space being created between large structures–and in a hurry. And large, being relative, considering that when the universe was the size of a Dixie Riddle Cup, a structure that becomes a galaxy is still smaller than a quark. Oh well.
