TV doesn’t influence kids? Oh really?

From Phil Mushnick’s column today:

Nothing new here, but a 13-year-old Louisiana boy, assigned to babysit his 5-year-old sister, beat her to death. He explained he was imitating what he sees on WWE TV shows. When confronted with such stories, the WWE, which packs arenas with kids and the shelves in Toys R Us with merchandise, explained its shows aren’t for kids.
