The Superbowl is in New Jersey next year (2014). I am trying to drum up support for having Uncle Floyd be part of the entertainment. Now I realize that Floyd is not going to be the feature performer as it’s economically beyond him. But to have him there, playing his old upright piano in come capacity…? Can you picture it?
There is NO MORE NJ entertainer (Sinatra’s dead) still working today, than Floyd. It’s his moment. We have to make this happen.

Can you imagine the rest of the country/world, looking in and asking, “WHO is this guy?”
I don’t do Facebook so I’ll throw it out to the reader(s): Can someone do a “Floyd-to-the-Soop” page?
Forgot to mention that I emailed this idea to Phil Mushnick of the NY Post and he said that he would be behind the drive but only if he brought Oogie, which he does not do anymore. I think it was a polite tongue-in-cheek response. If he put it in the column on Sunday, that’s one thing, but I don’t think he will.
Great idea. I am so behind this one. Floyd would rock!
