Unfortunately, I have been visiting the Rosary Hill Home in Hawthorne, NY, recently. It’s a Catholic Hospice where cancer patients are given just amazing, palliative care. I work in Long Term Care, so I know a bit about it, and let me tell you, this is one nice facility and group of dedicated people.
The place has been there for about 112 years. It was founded by Nathaniel Hawthorne’s daughter, but then, you’re going to click on this link and read about it.
Amazingly, they don’t take money from the usual sources. They rely solely on private donations. Think about them the next time you’re tearing a check out. Say a prayer for these Hawthorne Dominicans and their work; they would for you.
Link is not operational. Can you fix?

The link works just now for me. It opens in a new window so try holding down cntl while clicking. That tells the popup blocker, “not now”. Or go to http://www.hawthorne-dominicans.org
thanks
