Hey, Eagle, good to have you in. The Reds had me cursing and scaring my wife and I was in the cellar on the excer bike and she was upstairs. Don’t get me started. Kuyt is hopeless. Crouch is so overblown–he couldn’t create a f### at a bean-eating contest. They had a man advantage and like you say, were lucky to get out of there with a goal or two. You can’t bank on Stevie doing that stuff every game but boy, I’ll take it. It was a classic Gerrard shocker. And with the help he was getting, I don’t blame him for having a go from there.
If I could “short” a team, it would be Liverpool. How do they continue to move on? But they do. Do you think they’re being fair to Rafa? Or is it the anti-Yank stuff just redirected?

The Irish television guys - best on t.v., better than anything on British t.v. - seem to think that the pressure on Rafa is taking its toll. They have no time for Hicks & Gillete, but then again neither do I. All I keep saying to anyone who asks me about those two is A-Rod - $250m. That was Hicks. Gillete’s hardly loved in Montreal where the Canadiens have not exactly been winning with the frequency of the Yankees.
