While going through the files of prints, trying to get shots to use for the new art website, I found one of my favorite shots from the 1990’s: Applying eye makeup to the Joe DiMaggio statue at a photo shoot. My goodness, I loved that DiMag statue and it annoys me every time I think of the mess that Leland’s Auctions made of it–cost me thousands. I wouldn’t list anything with Lelands ever, ever, ever again. I wouldn’t bid on a Lelands item ever, ever, ever. I have nothing good to say about them. When I see them on Roadshow, I spit at the screen.
Anyway, just a blast from statue past.
