Paperless Toilet (and it’s not France!)

Apparently there is a technology channel and recently, they covered this new, $5,000 toilet that includes: heated seat, automatic raising of seat as you approach it, removes air directly from the bowl before it fouls the room, cleans you up with water jets and warm-air dries you after. It’s the very latest apparently… –fog

This is what you had to contend with in Delhi.  This one, is actually pretty clean. –fog

  3. Bob did you see the Asian toilets in India? The ones with two foot treads over a hole in the tiles? In the airport in Delhi, they had “Western” and regular hole toilets. –fog

  4. Your Delhi WT image is way nicer than what I encountered in the International Mumbia airport. Side question; anyone comment on your snapping pictures in the Mens room ?

  5. I really do agree that the Delhi photo doesn’t exactly inspire me towards the sort of renovation I would want to make. The waterless toilet, though. That’s almost scary to have a sort of robotic bathroom nanny, isn’t it? I suppose it takes all sorts of innovations before the right one takes off and becomes a household standby, but wow…. :)
